KENTFIELD SCHOOL DISTRICT The
Kentfield School District provides elementary and middle school
education to the communities of Greenbrae and Kentfield. Student
achievement as measured by the 2005 STAR assessment places the District
in the top 10% in Reading, Math, Language Arts and Spelling. |
TAMALPAIS UNION HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT Offers secondary school education to students advancing from ten
elementary districts in Marin County. There are three comprehensive
high schools as well as two alternative high schools within the
Tamalpais Union High School District. |

Kent Middle School has a 2006-07 API rating of 923. In 1990 and again
in 1992, Kent Middle School was selected as a California Distinguished
School.

2008 Redwood was selected as a National Blue Ribbon School and was
designated a California Distinguished School for the fourth time in
2007. A main academic building, industrial arts shops, fine arts
facilities, four computer laboratories, a large gymnasium, fitness
training center, practice gym, athletic fields, theater, Career Center,
outdoor amphitheater, swimming and diving pools, and tennis courts make
up the facilities. |
TAMISCAL HIGH ALTERNATIVE HIGHSCHOOL 305 Doherty Drive Larkspur, CA 94939 (415) 945-3750 Grades 9-12 Tamiscal
is the independent study/ alternative high school that serves the
students of the Tamalpais Union High School District. Its unique
setting provides opportunities for learning for students who have
health issues, significant off- campus activities, necessary
employment, family obligations or learning styles that make attendance
at a traditional school impractical.

SAN ANDREAS CONTINUATION/ALTERNATIVE HIGH SCHOOL 599 William Ave Larkspur, Ca 94939 (415) 945-3770 Grades 9-12 San
Andreas High School is the Tamalpais Union High School District's
continuation/alternative education high school. The purpose of this
school is to provide an alternative learning environment for students
who have difficulty attending a traditional high school. |
