INVERNESS SCHOOLS
Once only viewed as a summer vacation spot with some homes that still remain with the original families who built them in the 30's, Inverness is gradually building a year round population. And, because many of the homes just pass from one generation to the next a normal inventory of houses has not always been that easy to come by here in Inverness. When properties do become available though you can expect to find a range of homes from the small wooded cottage tucked into the hillside to a multi-million dollar estate home.
Sir Francis Drake Blvd. from Hwy 101 eventually leads you to the small coastal town of Inverness before reaching the Point Reyes National Seashore. The multitude of outdoor recreational activities include kayaking in Tomales Bay, hiking, of course mountain biking, bird watching or watching seals, or the occasional migrating whales makes Inverness a sought after and unique place to live not only a popular spot for visitors but for year round residents as well.
