KENTFIELD SCHOOLS

The Kentfield Schools Foundation, which is a non-profit public organization committed to the educational support of Bacich and Kent Middle Schools is just one of the reasons to consider purchasing your home in Kentfield.  There are many choices between both private and public schools in addition to The College of Marin School in Kentfield.
 

PUBLIC SCHOOLS IN KENTFIELD

There are two public school districts in Kentfield:  The Kentfield School District for elementary and middle school, and the Tamalpais Union High School District, for high school students who attend Redwood High School located in the adjacent town of Larkspur.
 

KENTFIELD SCHOOL DISTRICT
This school district serves both Kentfield and Greenbrae communities.

TAMALPAIS UNION HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT
Provides secondary education to the students from 10 elementary school districts in Marin County, which includes the Kentfield School District.  The three high schools this district includes are all California Distinguished Schools.  In addition there are two alternative schools.
ANTHONY BACICH ELEMENTARY
Grades K-4
Bacich Elementary School is a California Distinguished School.  Bacich is in the top 10% of schools with a similar grade range in the state of California and with schools with similar demographics it scores a 9 on a scale of 1 to 10.

Kent Middle School has twice been selected a California Distinguished School.  It also has a top 10% ranking among California Schools with a similar grade structure.  Students who attend Kent will most likely choose Redwood High School.

A small independent high school that is part of the Tamalpais Union High School District that where a high school diploma can be earned but entrance to a university might require additional entry courses such as foreign language and other upper level science classes which must be taken elsewhere.
